Lake Shore's Adolescent Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling services are tailored to specifically se2_young_girls_web_sm.jpgrve the needs of adolescents.  We strive to provide the latest, evidenced-based therapies to treat a wide variety of mental illnesses and substance abuse.

Lake Shore's Adolescent Mental Health services are geared to treat adolescents ages 13 to 17. We can provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for mental illnesses including anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, family and relationship problems, obsessive compulsive disorder, and schizophrenia.

Lake Shore's Adolescent Substance Abuse services, for adolescents age
17 and under, use a combination of individual, family and group sessions focused on developing goals, problem solving skills, anger management, better communication and relapse prevention.  The objective of the program is to teach the skills necessary for them to live a productive, alcohol and drug free lifestyle as well as promote the development of healthy peer and family relationships.

Lake Shore offers seamless services to those individuals who suffer from both mental illness and substance abuse.  Our experienced certified social workers, mental health counselors, nurses and psychiatrists can provide treatment and medication therapy for a wide range of mental illnesses and addictions.
